Essex Tech scored with 5:22 left in regulation to spoil Southeastern's bid for a 5th straight Voc-tech title. Nolan Sturdevant had a pair of goals and Thomas Mondeau add a goal before Essex scored the tiebreaker. Jim Cooper had 2 assists and Keagan Bunker and Billy Manning had an assist each in the losing effort. The entire team gave a great effort in an exciting back and forth game for the championship. Ryan LeBaron made 22 saves for the Hawks. The Hawks will take on Danvers in the D3 tournament this week.
