Nolan Sturdevant had a pair of goals and Thomas Mondeau add a goal before Essex scored the tiebreaker. Jim Cooper had 2 assists and Keagan Bunker and Billy Manning had an assist each in the losing effort. The entire team gave a great effort in an exciting back and forth game for the championship. Congratulations to Arthur Ryan and James McDonough for qualifying for the State tournament this Friday and Saturday in Fitchburg by placing 4th in their weight classes. Congratulations also to Evan Kelleher, Isaiah Aaron and James Schmit who placed 5th and will be alternates. Overall, the wrestlers placed 8th out of 14 teams.
